Anna graduated with honors from Washington University School of Law in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. While in law school, she demonstrated a passion for criminal defense, honing her advocacy skills through internships with multiple public defenders’ offices. She received a special distinction for her work with the Post-Conviction Relief Clinic, where she dedicated hundreds of hours to support an incarcerated client’s wrongful conviction claim.
Before delving into law, Anna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Peace and Justice Studies from Tufts University, specializing in systemic issues in education. She spent her college years volunteering as an English teacher for speakers of other languages. Anna’s background in teaching uniquely equips her to guide clients through the complex and sometimes opaque processes of the criminal legal system.
In her legal practice, Anna embodies a client-centered approach. Believing passionately that people are more than the sum of their mistakes, Anna strives to not only fight hard on the legal issues, but also to ensure that clients’ voices are heard and their stories are given due importance.
Outside the legal sphere, Anna is an avid baker who enjoys board games and spending time in parks alongside her partner Morgan and their beloved anxious hound mix Apollo.
